Jobner Green is a high-yielding variety of Indian Spinach (beet leaf).
This was developed at the Jobner campus of the University of Udaipur by selection from a spontaneous mutation detected in a local collection.
It produces green, large, thick and tender leaves with a strong flavour having an entire margin. It is a high yielder and gives an average yield of 30 tonnes/ha.
