Solution(By Examveda Team)

Maggots as predators belong to the family Syrphidae and Cryptochaetidae.
The Cryptochetidae are a small family of tiny flies (generally 2 to 4 mm long). They are metallic blue black, stoutly built, with the head broad and high and with clear wings.
Hover flies or syrphid flies, make up the insect family Syrphidae.
In these species, the larvae also called maggots in case of flies are insectivores and prey on aphids, thrips, and other plant-sucking insects.
