The mutant variety of almonds is Supernova.
It is a late-flowering self-compatible mutant, obtained by the irradiation of the early-flowering self-incompatible cultivar 'Fascionello'.
This cultivar has a Semi-entire shell, Late ripening, productive and self-fertile.
Suitable in warm weather; fear frost but the best variety bloom later than those that are grown old.
