The necrosis susceptible variety of Aonla is Francis.
Necrosis, a physiological disorder has been observed in aonla fruits. This particular disorder has been observed mostly in the case of Banarasi and Francis varieties. Fully developed brown-colored fruits are harvested. Delay in harvesting results in heavy dropping of fruits in case of some varieties.
This variety is physically erect and tall tree, good and regular bearer, Branches have the drooping habit. Large fruited weighing about 63 gms, oval roundish, light green, slightly fibrous, moderately juicy.
