The optimum seed rate (g/ha) of cauliflower is 300 - 400.
Seed rate may be defined as the amount of seed required for a unit area of land to grow any crop successfully.
For the early season variety of cauliflower seed rate of 400 gm is required whereas for the late and main season variety seed rate of 350 gm per acre is required.
Before sowing dip seeds in hot water (50°C for 30 min) or streptocycline@0.01 gm/Ltr for two hours for better yield and to avoid any contamination.
