Answer: Option C

Solution (By Examveda Team)

The optimum seed rate of garlic (kg/ha) in terms of clove is 400 - 500.
Seed rate may be defined as the amount of seed required for a unit area of land to grow any crop successfully. In other words, the amount of seed required to raise a crop successfully on a given land is called the optimum seed rate for that crop of the land.
Dip cloves in carbendazim solution (0.1%) just before planting to reduce the incidence of fungal diseases during establishment. The seed rate for garlic is 400 - 500 kg/ha. Selected cloves should be planted vertically 2 cm below the soil surface with a plant-to-plant spacing of 10 cm and row-to-row spacing of 15 cm.
