Pusa Bindu is brinjal while Arka Bindu is Onion.
Pusa Bindu: Plants are pigmented all over, upright with a moderate branching habit, and free of spines. Fruits pendant, small, oval-round, glossy, violet purple with pigmented peduncle. Bearing habit is solitary to partial clusters. The average yield is 300 g/ha. Fruits are milky white, shining and oval.
Arka Bindu: Suitable for the export market, gives deep pink bulb of small size (2.5 - 3.5 cm), flattish globe shape, high T.S.S (14 - 16%), and high pungency. Bulbs mature in 100 days from sowing. Bulb yields 25 t/ha.
