Skiffing is practised in which plantation crop

Skiffing is practiced in Tea plantation crops.
It is the lightest pruning. foliage is leveled off, only green stems are removed. The top 5 - 8 cm of new growth is removed to obtain the uniform level of plucking surface. If the bushes are pruned about 75 cm, it is referred to as skiffing.
Pruning and skiffing of tea are the most important operations in tea production.
