Stripping of sugarcane leaves minimizes the attack of Mealy bugs.
It is a hand tool for stripping leaves and detopping of cane after harvest. The stripper works by separating and pushing the leaf sheaths away from stalk. A knife welded on the stem of the stripper allows detopping of canes.
The purpose of stripping is to remove residue from oils, detergents, minerals, and softeners, not stain removal. Stripping is commonly used in industrial applications to remove harmful contaminants from waste streams.
