Surul poochi prefers which variety of Groundnut?

Surul poochi prefers Bunch type variety of Groundnut.
The varieties under cultivation fall into three habit groups. They are bunch (pish/Valencia), semi-spreading (Virginia bunch) and spreading (Virginia runner).
Bunch types are preferred where the rainy season is short and also for irrigated crops in rabi and summer seasons. Where the soils have high clay content and harvesting is a problem, bunch types are preferred.
