The fruits, bark, leaves, seeds and roots of bael contain various bioactive compounds such as coumarin, xanthotoxol, imperatorin, aegeline and marmeline. These compounds can provide antidiabetic, anticancerous, antifertility, antimicrobial, immunogenic and insecticidal activities.
