Which country ranked highest in vegetables production

China is the leading producer with a production volume of nearly 594 million metric tons, followed by India with approximately 141.2 million metric tons of fresh vegetables, as of 2020 - 21.
China produces half of the world's vegetables. Chinese vegetables include Chinese cabbage, bok choy, mustard greens, winter radish, snow peas, yard-long beans and varieties of melons, eggplant and cucumbers, among others.
