Wota trap is used for Groundnut leaf miner.Wota Trap is easy to assemble on a single pole. It consists of an adapter, basin to hold water (mixed with kerosene/ detergent) and a lure holder with a canopy. It can be effectively used to trap Sugarcane borers, Tuta moths, Brinjal borers.
Groundnut leaf miner, is a very serious pest of groundnuts both in the rainy and post rainy season crops and is regarded as the most important pest threatening groundnut production in Uganda.
