All legislative subject are mentioned in three lists union list, concurrent list and state list. Any subject is not mentioned in all three list, the law on that particular subject can be framed by-

A. Parliament only

B. State Legislature only

C. 1 and 2

D. Neither 1 nor 2

As per seventh schedule of constitution,there are three lists which contain all legislative subjects. These are Union list, State list and Concurrent list. Article 248 says, any subject, if not mentioned in above three lists, comes under residuary list which is completely under control of parliament.
