Atrazine used as an antitranspirant

Antitranpirants are substances that are applied to reduce the transpiration process in plants to protect them from drying out too quickly.
Atrazine is a widely used herbicide that can be applied to control broadleaf and grassy weeds. To some extent it can also be used as Antitranspirants as in low concentrations it induces stomatal closing which leads to stopping transpiration for some time.
