Berseem is the "king of berseem", one of the most important leguminous annual fodder. It gives 5 - 7 cuts in a year during the winter, spring, and early summer seasons.
Usually, chicory is found admixed with berseem seed. Since the size of chicory and berseem seed is the same. To remove chicory seeds, a 10% common salt solution is used.
