Concept of critical stage of irrigation

The concept of the critical stage of irrigation illustrates the ultimate stage if irrigation is not done to the field then it will cause a reduction in yield at the maximum level or the stage at which the water stress causes severe yield reduction.
The critical stage of water is also termed a moisture-sensitive period.
