Kuldeep Handoo was born in 1976. He is a famous Wushu player. Wushu is a Chinese martial art. In 1995, he won the first Gold in the Sixth National Wushu Championship at Mizoram and never looked back. He is 11 times National Champion and 6 times International Medalist. He is associated as National Coach with Wushu Association of India. He was the Wushu National Coach for the 16^th Asian Games at Guangzhou where India won two medals. He was the coach for the 11^th World Wushu Championship held at Turkey and Indian Team won 4 medals. He was awarded the Jammu and Kashmir State Award for Outstanding Sportsperson in the year 2011. He also got 'Dronacharya Award' in 2020.
