If two charged objects of equal capacity are connected with a wire:

Answer & Solution
Correct Answer: Option C
Correct Answer: Option C: Current will not flow

Here's why:

* What is Current? Electrical current is the flow of electric charge. Usually, this charge is carried by electrons (which have a negative charge) moving through a wire.

* Voltage (Electrical Potential) Think of voltage like the pressure in a water pipe. A higher voltage means more "electrical pressure." Current flows from areas of high voltage to areas of low voltage. This difference in voltage is required for current to flow.

* Equal Capacity: The crucial part of the question is that the charged objects have equal capacity. This implies that they are at the same electrical potential (same voltage). There is no voltage difference between them.

* No Potential Difference = No Current Flow If there's no difference in electrical pressure (voltage), there's no "push" to make the charges move. Therefore, current will not flow.
* Why not A or B? Options A and B suggest current *would* flow. Current only flows when there's a voltage difference.

* Why not D? Option D talks about "magnetic induction," which is a different concept related to magnetic fields and changing currents. It's not directly relevant to this scenario with static charged objects.

* In Summary Because the objects have equal capacity and are connected, their potential equalizes instantly. No current flows because there is no potential difference to drive it.

it should be B. (until potential difference is 0 the current will flow from higher potential to lower potential).
