Kashmir's ruler Suhadeva of Dev dynasty was very weak. He fled to Kishtwar. His Commander Ramachandra took help from Rin-Chen and Shah Mir (of Swat valley) to set up his rule. Rin Chen eventually became very powerful, he killed Ramachandra, married his daughter Kota Rani and occupied the throne of Kashmir.
