Northern Tropical Semi-evergreen Forests are found in the forest divisions of mayurbhanj, dhenkanal, athgarh, puri, nayagarh, paralakhemundi, koraput, and kalahandi above 600 m elevation in the lower hills and valleys. Arjun, mango, mankar kendu, champat, rai, manda, and nageswar are some of the most important tree species.
