Ozone layer in the atmosphere absorbs

The ozone layer is covers or earth like a blanket and protects us by absorbing harmful ultra violet radiation (UV-B) from the Sunlight. when an ozone molecule absorbs UV-B it comes apart into an oxygen molecule and a separate oxygen atom O which combines later to form an ozone molecule.
