RRB ALP Selection Process 2026

RRB ALP Selection Process 2026 includes multiple stages conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board to select eligible candidates for the Assistant Loco Pilot post. The RRB ALP exam process 2026 consists of four major stages:

RRB ALP CBT 1 2026

Candidates who qualify in all previous stages of the RRB ALP Selection Process 2026 are called for Document Verification. In this stage, candidates must submit their original documents along with photocopies for verification of their eligibility, qualifications, and personal details.

The important documents required for RRB ALP Document Verification include:

• Original educational certificates and mark sheets.
• Proof of age and date of birth.
• Identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID.
• Category certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates (if applicable).
• Disability certificate for PwD candidates (if applicable).
• Other documents mentioned in the official RRB ALP notification.

Medical Examination in RRB ALP Recruitment Process 2026

The RRB ALP Medical Examination 2026 is the final stage of the selection process after Document Verification. Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards to ensure they are physically fit for Assistant Loco Pilot duties.

• Medical Standard: Candidates must fulfil the A-1 medical category requirements.
• Vision Requirement: 6/6 distant vision without glasses, normal colour vision, and no night blindness.
• Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit to perform locomotive operations safely.
• Other Tests: Hearing ability and overall health conditions are checked during the medical examination.

Training in RRB ALP Selection Process 2026

After clearing all stages of the RRB ALP Selection Process 2026, including CBT exams and Document Verification, selected candidates undergo mandatory training before joining as Assistant Loco Pilots. The training prepares candidates with the required technical knowledge and practical skills for railway operations.
