The Sathanur Dam is Masonry cum earthen dam built across Pennaiyar River near Sathanur village in Thandarampattu Taluk in Tiruvannamalai District of Tamil Nadu during 1954 to 1958. The Dam consists of spillway, river sluice and saddle spillways to regulate the water flow.
