SSC Stenographer Computer-Based Test (CBT) 2026

The first stage of the SSC Stenographer Selection Process 2026 is the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The examination consists of one objective-type paper covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension. SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2026

The SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2026 is the second stage of the recruitment process and is qualifying in nature. Candidates who clear the Computer-Based Test (CBT) are shortlisted for this stage. In the Skill Test, candidates are required to transcribe a 10-minute dictation in either English or Hindi within the prescribed time limit. The Document Verification (DV) is the final stage of the SSC Stenographer Selection Process 2026. Candidates who qualify the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the Shorthand Skill Test are called for document verification. During this stage, candidates must produce original documents along with the required photocopies to verify their eligibility, educational qualifications, age, and category claims. Failure to produce the required documents may result in cancellation of candidature.
