The product of any three consecutive natural numbers is always divisible by :

A. 3

B. 6

C. 9

D. 15

Answer: Option B

Solution(By Examveda Team)

Let the required product be n (n + 1) (n + 2)
Then,
n = 1 ⇒ n (n + 1) (n + 2) = (1 × 2 × 3) = 6
n = 2 ⇒ n (n + 1) (n + 2) = (2 × 3 × 4) = 24
n = 3 ⇒ n (n + 1) (n + 2) = (3 × 4 × 5) = 60
So, each such product is divisible by 6
