U.P. Govt. has decided to provide an eco-friendly Green power to the Taj Trapezium zone. What is the green Power?

In the year 2005, Uttar Pradesh Government decided to provide green power to the Taj Trapezium Zone in a bid to minimise the harmful effects of pollution. A pilot project for 'bagasse co-generation' was jointly undertaken by the department of non-conventional source of energy and USAID (United States Agency for International Development). Bagasse based energy production is a biomass technology.
