Bitot’s Spots: Foamy, silvery-white triangular patches that build up on the whites of the eyes (conjunctiva).
Corneal Xerosis & Ulceration: Extreme dryness of the cornea leads to cloudiness, pitting, and open sores.
Keratomalacia: The cornea softens and liquefies, causing permanent, irreversible blindness.
