Which is the example of CAM plant

CAM (Crassulacean acid metabolism), is a photosynthetic adaption to periodic water supply, in the plants occurring in Arid regions.
Thus, the plants that grow in a dry environment, like cactus and pineapples show the CAM pathway to stay hydrated and minimize the photorespiration process in such plants. And that is why they are called CAM plants.
