Ansupa Lake, a 141 - hectare freshwater lake on the left bank of the Mahanadi River, opposite Banki in Cuttack district, Odisha, India, is formed like a horseshoe. Ansupa Lake in Banki is 40 kilometres from Cuttack and serves as a stopover for migratory birds during the winter months. It is a freshwater lake surrounded by bamboo tree vegetation and mango trees in the Saranda Hills.
