Muriate of potash (MOP) is the only fertilizer that is not produced in India. As India imports all of the potash we do not have any reserve of potash in India.
India imports handle promotes and markets potash fertilizers in India.
MOP (Muriate of Potash) is a red-white crystal, completely soluble in water and therefore readily available to the crops.
It usually contains 60% K₂O. It is the most common source of potash for farm use and is also the main potash ingredient for compound fertilizers containing potassium.
