Ghodazhari Wildlife Sanctuary in Maharashtra was notified in 2018. The Maharashtra Government has approved Ghodazari in Chandrapur district as new wildlife sanctuary in the state. The decision was taken at 13^th meeting of Maharashtra State Board for Wildlife chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
