Stripe rust of wheat is one of the types of rust disease in wheat crops. It is also called wheat yellow rust. It can cause significant loss to crop yield and its quality. In this disease elongated lesions are present on the infected area which bears yellow-orange spores, that is why it is called yellow rust.
