Banihal Qazigund Road Tunnel is situated at an elevation of 1790 metres, it is a double tube tunnel with two lanes each. It is operational but a part of it is still under construction. It is India’s longest tunnel (11.2 km) and is also called Pir Panjal Tunnel.
