Which variety of mungbean is suitable for cultivation both during rainy and summer seasons

Type-44 (Pusa Baisakhi) was developed in 1962 as a cross between Type-1 × Type-49. The plants of this variety are semi-spreading, medium in height, and pods are 7 - 9 cm long containing 11 - 14 seeds. It is suitable for spring and summer sowing and the average yield is 8 - 10 quintal per hectare.
