Who is known as 'Waterman of India'?

Rajendra Singh is known as the "Water man of India". He was born on 6^th August 1959 in Alwar, Rajasthan, he is an Indian water conservationist and environmentalist. He runs an NGO called “Tarun Bharat Sangh” (TBS) which was founded in 1975 to fight slow bureaucracy and to help villagers take charge of water management in their semi-arid area as it lies close to the Thar desert. TBS helped build over 8600 johads and water conservation storage tanks to collect rainwater for dry seasons and has brought water to 1000 villages and also received five rivers in Rajasthan.
