Rajendra Singh is known as the "Water man of India". He was born on 6th August 1959 in Alwar, Rajasthan, he is an Indian water conservationist and environmentalist. He runs an NGO called “Tarun Bharat Sangh” (TBS) which was founded in 1975 to fight slow bureaucracy and to help villagers take charge of water management in their semi-arid area as it lies close to the Thar desert.
