Pandit Prem Nath Dogra was born on 24^th October, 1884 in Samba. He worked for the integration of Jammu and Kashmir with India. He was one of the founding members of Jammu Praja Parishad Party that was formed in 1947. He opposed the policies of Sheikh Abdullah as he supported total integration. He was also elected as the President of Bhartiya Jana Sangh in 1955. He was also known as Sher-e-Duggar. He died on 20^th March, 1972.
