Harbhajan Singh took the first hat-trick on 11 March 2001 at Eden Garden Kolkata. He got wickets of Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist and Shane Warne. It was the 29th hattrick in test cricket. Irfan Pathan is the second Indian bowler who took hat-trick in test matches.
