After Udayanadeva’s death, his queen Kota Rani ruled the dynasty bravely but due to an uprising against her by Shah Mir (Minister of Rinchan), the dynasty came to an end in 1339 AD. After a long drawn battle, Kota Rani was unable to face the situation and committed suicide.
