Solution(By Examveda Team)

$$\eqalign{ & {\text{Total}}\,{\text{cow}}\,{\text{milksold}}\,{\text{in}}\,{\text{five}}\,{\text{days}} \cr & = 5 \times 8 = 40\,{\text{litres}} \cr & {\text{Total}}\,{\text{buffalo}}\,{\text{milk}}\,{\text{sold}}\,{\text{in}}\,{\text{five}}\,{\text{days}} \cr & = 5 \times 10 = 50\,{\text{litres}} \cr & {\text{Hence}}, \cr & {\text{SP}}\,{\text{of}}\,{\text{40}}\,{\text{litres}}\,{\text{cow}}\,{\text{milk}} \cr & = 40 \times 55 = Rs.\,2200 \cr & {\text{Hence}}, \cr & {\text{Profit}}\,{\text{on}}\,{\text{cow}}\,{\text{milk}} \cr & = \frac{{ {2200 \times 12} }}{{112}} = Rs.\,235.71 \cr & {\text{Profit}}\,{\text{on}}\,{\text{buffalo}}\,{\text{milk}} \cr & = \frac{{ {50 \times 36 \times 20} }}{{120}} = Rs.\,300 \cr & {\text{Thus}}, \cr & {\text{Total}}\,{\text{Profit}} \cr & = 235.71 + 300 = Rs.\,535.71 \cr} $$

    Total SP of cow milk= 55×5×8=2200
    Let, CP be x
    112% of x = 2200
    x=1964.29
    Profit from cow milk=2200-1964.29=235.71
    Total SP of buffalo milk=36×5×10=1800
    Let, CP be y
    120% of y = 1800
    y=1500
    Profit from buffalo milk= 1800-1500=300
    Total profit= 235.71+300=535.71

    P=SP-CP = 2200-CP
    SP=CP(1+12/100)
    =CP(112/100)
    CP=SP(100/112)
    P=2200-(2200*100/112)=2200*(12/112)
