If combustion means burning in presence of oxygen this is hell in no way a physical change.it is better an exothermic reaction

The answer should be exothermic reaction, because combustion of a candle(wax) is a reaction between hydrocarbons and oxygen which yelds carbon dioxide, water and heat. Also there physical change occurs, wax melts by the heat produces in the reaction which is a physical change.
