Ho tribes declared war against

The Ho uprising occurred in the region of Singhbhum. It was in response to British and zamindar persecution, and the hos reacted forcefully, refusing to submit to the raja and chiefs of Singhbhum. Hos attacked the subedar and his party on 31^st January 1821. The has, however, were defeated by the British and accepted their subjugation to the British.
