$$\frac{{\text{x}}}{{\text{y}}} = \frac{5}{2}$$
Means x = 5, y = 2
Putting value of x and y in expression
8 × 5 + 9 × 2 = 58
8 × 5 + 2 × 2 = 44
58 : 44 = 29 : 22
