A. 12 years

B. 24 years

C. 16 years

Answer: Option A

Solution(By Examveda Team)

$$\frac{P + Q + R}{3}$$   = R + 5
P + Q + R = 3R + 15
P + Q - 2R = 15 . . . . . (i)
P + Q= 39 . . . . . (ii)
From equation (i) and (ii)
39 - 2R = 15
2R = 24
R = 12 years
