Sir if we took such a sentence that is....The father and his sons were mysteriously missing from his house........wat error will be in this sentence. .plz help

The sentence should be The Father and his sons were mysteriously missing from THEIR house.
When two singular pronouns (or one singular and one plural) are joined with AND it becomes plural.
