As per provisions of Article-125, the salary and allowances of judges of Supreme Court are charged on Consolidated Fund of India with prior approval of Parliament. Article-266 defines Consolidated Fund of India as a fund which consists of all revenues received by Government of India, all loans raised by Government by issue of treasury bills and all money received by Government in repayment of loans.
