    A. Horizontal method: is used analysing already represented points.
    B. Vertical method: is used representing a point on contour
    While indirect method is three types:
    A. Square method: Is used for small and little undulating areas.
    B. Cross section method: is used for railway track.
    C. Techometric method: is used for hilly terrain.
