No confidence motion can be introduced only in Lok Sabha by opposition against the government. Speaker of Lok Sabha can accept no confidence motion only when it is demanded by 50 or more members. Constitution does not directly mention no confidence motion. It can be inferred from the provision of collective responsibility under Article-75, which implies that majority of Lok Sabha MPs must not be agianst Prime Minister and his Cabinet.
