A sum of Rs. 8,200 was divided among A, B and C in such a way that a had Rs. 500 more than B and C had Rs. 300 more than A. How much how C's share (in Rs.)?

Correct Answer: Option D
\[\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} {\text{A}}&{\text{B}}&{\text{C}} \\ {x + 500}&x&{x + 800} \end{array}\]
3x + 1,300 = 8,200
3x = 6,900
x = 2,300
C's share = x + 800
= 2,300 + 800
= Rs. 3,100
