Selling price of 2 → 800
1 → 400
Let cost price of one article = x
Gain at 2 articles = 3x
1 article = $$\frac{{3{\text{x}}}}{2}$$
Selling price = x + $$\frac{{3{\text{x}}}}{2} = \frac{{5{\text{x}}}}{2}$$
